Welcome! The new challenge starting today at Cards In Envy blog is "Baby Blue or Pretty Pink". Your card doesn't have to be a baby card in pink or blue, but, of course, it can be. I used an adorable digi stamp from Vera Lane Studio that I love to paper piece! I just found these cute diaper pin stickers on Ebay.
I just received this new Tiddly Inks clear stamp set in the mail yesterday (happy dance!) and couldn't wait to make a card with it! I realized it qualifies for their current challenge "Make It Rectangle".
Paper piecing is one of my favorite techniques. I hope you like this one!
I have had this cute digi forever but can't remember where I got it! If anyone recognizes it, let me know! Meanwhile, I think he's lots of fun and perfect for a summer coffee card! I love using tags on cards.

Hello! My sister posted a photo of her two rescue kitties watching the birds outside her window. It was so cute it inspired me to draw a little "digi" stamp. I haven't made it into a card yet but here it is colored:
Here is my digi; you are welcome to it! I'm not great with the technical stuff but I hope you can save it and use it! I'd love to see what you make! Sherry
I had fun making this card using the "Annabelle Sunshine" digi stamp from Tiddly Inks! I liked the botanical background paper so much that I cut out some larger flowers from another sheet on the 6x6 pad. I don't usually do that, but I like how it turned out!
I have gotten into making and trading ATCs, thanks to two groups I belong to on Facebook. I thought it would be fun to share them here on my blog, too, in case anybody who likes ATCs happens to stop by!
I made this one with Vera Lane Studio digi stamps, Copics, Glossy Accents and a snowfall embossing folder. It makes me want to head east to the ocean!
You can find all the Vera Lane Studio digis at her Etsy shop! Her FB group is really fun, quirky and inspirational, too; check it out!
Thanks for stopping by; be sure to leave me a comment so I'll know you were here!
Hello and welcome! A new challenge starts today at Cards In Envy blog: "You're the Man!" You can make any masculine card (Father's Day, birthday, etc) that fits into a regular envelope! It had been awhile since I made a masculine card so I really enjoyed making this one! I hope you have fun, too!
Welcome! I was looking through the challenges at Paper Playful and spotted a "Victorian Romance" theme at Make My Monday Challenge Blog. I made this card with an image from Digital Two for Tuesday that I colored with Copic Markers:
This is my first time playing at Make My Monday. Thanks for this great challenge theme! I love vintage.
I'm also posting this at the Frilly and Funkie challenge blog for their "Something Old" theme. According to Digital Two for Tuesday this is an illustration from the February 1897 "The Women's World Magazine" (definitely old). As I mentioned above, I colored it with Copics.
Hello! The new theme at Cards In Envy challenge blog is "Favorite Color Combo." I went with one of my fave combos: peach and sage green.
I found the old photo online and "colorized" it a bit like they used long ago. I was going to color her dress peach; then I decided just to add a little color. The beautiful patterned paper is a 6x6 pack from A.C. Moorel I loved that I could use three patterns from the pad.
Here is the card I made for the Design Team:

Hello and welcome! The new challenge at Cards In Envy blog is "Motherly Love." You can make a Mother's Day card or another type of card that depicts motherly love. For my card, I used a digi stamp set from Vera Lane Studio and colored with Copic markers:
You can make any size card as long as it fits into an envelope for easy mailing. Have fun and see you at Cards In Envy!
Hello and welcome! The new challenge at Cards In Envy is "Pretty Pastels". Create a card using only pastel colors. Your card can be any size but must be flat to fit in an envelope! Here is my pretty pastels card:

Hi. I made this for a "Spring" challenge in a Facebook paper crafting group I belong to. I have always liked the Hambo Stamps digi, but this is the first time I paper-pieced the "umbrellas". The dp is a really pretty (and reasonably priced!) 6x6 pad from AC Moore called "Vintage Botanicals" by Love Nicole:
Hi! "Roses are red; violets are blue..." The new challenge starting today at Cards In Envyis Red and Blue (your white card base is ok). You can make any size card now at the Cards In Envy challenge; just make sure it is flat for mailing and doesn't have thick, bumpy elements.
Hello! The new challenge at Words 2 Craft By is "Celebrations" with an inspiration quote about Mardi Gras from Mark Twain. I've never been to Mardi Gras but certainly have heard and seen a lot about the festive parades and famous King Cakes. I used two Vera Lane Studio digis to create my version of a King Cake. It was fun adding lots more bling than usual to create a Mardi Gras atmosphere! I could use this for a March birthday card...
I made a quick Valentine today with an old favorite Hambo digi stamp! I hope the boys like it; they are getting so big now (14 and 12). Or is it 15 and 12...hmm. They live in CA and I can't wait to see them in April.
I was so inspired by this lovely Mo Manning digi stamp! I made this card in honor of yesterday's Women's March as my own little way of expressing the hope that all little girls dare to follow their dreams! I colored the digi with Copics and the background is made with Ranger distress inks:
Christmas Card Throwdown has a new format (formerly called 52 Christmas Card Throwdown, it now offers a challenge twice a month; once a week must have been tough to administer!). Once again I would like to try to keep up with their challenges and finish the year with a good stack of Christmas cards or have good cards to send to Send A Smile 4 Kids. We'll see how I do with my resolution.
It's a sketch challenge at CCT and here's the sketch:
And here is the card I made. You can see it is an A2 rectangle and I flipped the sketch:
Digital stamps: Vera Lane Studio.etsy.com: "Maple"
I had a bit of a challenge executing my idea but I had fun, especially coloring Maple. I cut a little sprig of holly from another dp to tuck in her pocket.
Thanks for stopping by; hope you'll visit again soon,
Hi! Thanks for stopping by! I just wanted to share good news that my vintage carousel card is published in the Winter issue of Stamper's Sampler on page 46! The challenge was to use their template of a carousel horse and make a card. I am thrilled that they liked my card enough to include it in their beautiful magazine! It is my first time published and I am sure you can tell I'm very excited about it!
Hello on the second day of 2017! The new challenge at Cards In Envy starting today is "Snow Birds." I found this perfect Stampendous cling stamp, Snow Bird, and colored it with Inktense pencils. I added Stickles to the branches for bits of "snow".
I hope you will join in the fun and create a card featuring snow and birds! I look forward to seeing your post at Cards In Envy challenge blog. Happy New Year!!
